Trollstigen is a classic and can compete with the best the Alps have to offer. Opened byKing Olav VII in 1936. With 11 hairpins and an 800 meter rise in altitude it can be wise to conserve your energy. The finish is 874 meters above sea level and is the highest point between Valldal and Åndalsnes.
