Start: Bergen Railway Station
Finish: Mount Fløyen, 322 masl.
Actual time: 29 min
Type: Interval 4+5+6
Reverberations from the Cycling World Championships in Bergen in 2017 have settled, and the names of our cycling heros that were painted on the roads have long since been washed away by the rain. However, the mountain where the cyclists challenged each other, remains! The climb up Fløyen is short and brutal. Fløyen is the most popular of the seven mountains that surround Bergen, founded by Olav Kyrre in 1070. At that time Bergen was called Bjørgvin, 'The green meadow between the mountains'.

Location: Gaularfjellet, Norway
Start: Vangsnes
Finish: Gaularfjellet, 753 masl.
Type: Interval 4x6
From fjord to mountain. The Gaular Mountain rises from the banks of The Sogne Fjord, Norway’s longest fjord. The road carries you through beautiful and breathtaking scenery. If you find your rhythm you can perhaps avoid the worst lactic acid on your way to the top, 753 meters above sea level.

Film: Ole Jørgen Troøyen

This symbolizes the scenery that typifies Fjord Norway. Small tracks snake their way up steep slopes through wild, imposing scenery. Waterfalls cascade over the edge of sheer precipices. In the past only a special few hardy people managed to eak out a living in these hidden valleys. Life was ruthless and avalanches frequently destroyed their livelihoods.
